Who are we?

The vision of The Nerve is to provide a platform for undergraduate students passionate about neuroscience and cell biology research to connect, discuss, and learn neuroscience.
Our goal is to not only provide a method of connecting like-minded passionate individuals to discuss neuroscience but provide services to stay updated on the latest neuroscience and cell biology research and to provide advice and help for students to successfully navigate college for both the online semester and future ones to come.

May it be a video of research you find fascinating, or an article detailing an idea you may have thought up, sharing content among peers can not only expose others to incredible concepts and research but also allow you to refine your own knowledge of the field.

Neuroscience is a volatile and fast-growing field, and the amount of research coming up daily is overwhelming. With our Neuro-News, we hope to bring recent breakthroughs in the field as quickly as possible so as to allow everyone to remain updated on the ideas circulating in the neuroscience community

All you have to do is click the "Join Us" button. Once you click it you must enter your username and password and all the required info, then an authentication email will be sent to you. Click on the link and enter your username and password, create an account, and become a user. Users have the ability to post their own articles or pictures on the site and rate others' work as well. If you're a guest, you may see other's articles and work, but you can't post your own work

    ScioVirtual is a program that fosters connections between students to facilitate group online learning, something especially crucial during this pandemic. The RU CBN society has partnered with ScioVirtual and not only each neuroscience course but also use their experience to guide students in problem-solving and study skills, two abilities that are crucial to success in high school and beyond.

 THE FOUNDER

Sachin Mysore is the founder of The Nerve and is currently a rising junior in Rutgers New Brunswick. He currently majors in Cell Biology and Neuroscience with the prospect of joining Medical school and has a great passion for neuroscience and food.
